Brancaster Beach, Norfolk, 25/08/1990

Bright, cool.

The tide was out exposing the mud and sand on which there were numerous feeding birds: Black-Headed Gull, Great Black-Backed Gull, Oystercatcher, Herring Gull, Black-Tailed Godwit, a small pale wader with a black line along shoulder and side was a Sanderling (a new bird) and Redshank.
Birds seen on marsh/scrubland were Swallow and Linnet, also Woodpigeon.

11 species including 1 new species.
