Comments: After a visit to nearby Crane Beach, Kim & I stopped off here to look for a reported red-headed woodpecker. A lovely site but no woodpecker unfortunately.
Weather: hot & humid.

Double-crested Cormorant X
Downy Woodpecker 6 total.
Great Crested Flycatcher 1 flew up to a tree along the path next to the pond.
Eastern Kingbird 2 , a couple, around the back of the pond & over the main swamp.
Tree Swallow 1000 approx., fluttering around the dead trees in the main swamp.
Eastern Bluebird X - flitting under trees next to carpark.
Red-winged Blackbird X
Common Grackle 20 flew in to displace some of the tree swallows.
House Finch X - flitting under trees next to carpark.
